Fourth online testimony - Beate Klarsfeld

During the session, moderated by Anna Schaefer, she recounted her personal journey from a young German with little knowledge of the Holocaust to an internationally recognized human rights activist. She reflected on her campaign against former Chancellor Kurt Georg Kiesinger, her decades of activism, and the enduring importance of Holocaust education, historical memory, and civic responsibility.

The Klarsfelds’ work has been internationally recognized, notably by UNESCO for their contribution to Holocaust education and genocide prevention.
