The discussion offered students a unique opportunity to engage directly with family members who continue to preserve the memory of their relatives' experiences and to reflect on the importance of passing this history on to future generations.

The meeting was also attended by documentary filmmaker Dorothée Martin-Garde, herself the granddaughter of Holocaust survivor Raymond Soulas, who filmed the event.

The recorded footage is expected to be incorporated into a future documentary dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and the transmission of memory.
