Croatian ambassadors visit the Jasenovac site- Mai 06 2025

Accompanied by teachers Đordić and Kosović, as well as Snježana Šincek, a senior advisor at the Ministry of Education and Culture, 50 primary school students (aged approximately 6–8) visited the JUSP Jasenovac site. They attended an online lecture titled "Introduction to the European History of the Shoah," led by Hubert Strouk from the Shoah Memorial. Students from France, Greece, Germany, and Poland—who are also participating in the project, were in attendance. Following the lecture and lunch, the students toured the JUSP Jasenovac site with an expert guide and took part in an age-appropriate educational workshop. The next phase of the project is scheduled for autumn 2025.

We would like to thank the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and Ms. Šincek for including our school in this project, as we are the only school from the Republic of Croatia participating!
